This year's Stitch 'N' Pitch in Toronto is August 5th at 7pm against the Oakland
Athletics.
Stitch 'N' Pitch is an annual promotional initiative, sponsored by The National
NeedleArts Association (TNNA), which gives needle arts enthusiasts a chance to practice our
art while cheering for the Blue Jays. In 2007, over 700 knitters, needlepointers and
quilters attended.
A group of tickets in the 200 level are offered at a discount price of $20. Everyone who
attends gets a free Blue Jays totebag with yarn and needlework materials valued at $40.
Stitch 'N' Pitch is FUN! It lets us bring our hobby to the ball park and enjoy a night
out together. Even if you aren't a regular baseball fan, you'll find that it's really
enjoyable when shared with friends and colleagues. It's also fun for spouses and children
to attend.
This is a great chance to rub elbows with famous Canadian fibre arts designers and
authors like Stephanie Pearl-McPhee and Amy Singer - it's a popular public event and will
be broadly promoted on television, in the newspapers and on the radio.
Tickets can be purchased at Knitters Attic; online at bluejays.com/specialevents (promo code GP-SNP08), or on consignment
by calling (416) 341-1670 or emailing paul.rabeau@bluejays.com.

Test newsletter for Knitters Attic (from Kathleen)
Hi June! As promised, I've been working on incorporating the layout of the Knitters Attic newsletter into email form. I've been testing it with a few different mail readers, but I wonder if you could also take a look at it and let me know whether it displays okay for you? Thanks! -Kathleen.
